3) "How many places can I post things in at once?"

The obvious answer is one. Remember, you are playing a character here; your postings are supposed to be that character's words and actions. And that character can only be in one place at a time.

Of course, if you were really to only post in one place at a time, it would take forever for you to get anything done. So, if all you're doing is conversing and other trivial-type things, you can post in several places at once. Every time you call (assuming that you don't call more than once a day), your character can start the things he would normally do in a day (do business in a few establishments, talk to a couple of folks, have a drink at the pub), and finish the things you started in earlier calls. If you get too carried away, you'll start getting notes from aides, and some of your messages will be deleted.

However, the moment you start anything significant anywhere (combat, spell casting, etc.), everything you're doing in every other area immediately has to go on hold until you're finished. Once the spell or combat or whatever is over, you can go back to the things you were doing before.

Also, if you're on a quest, you can't post *anything*, publicly or privately, outside the quest areas, or to those (other than aides and referees) not involved in the quest.

In any case, certain areas are immune from these rules; you can post there as often as you want, even while you're in the middle of something else. These areas include all rooms on the Root hall (Referees' Den, Style Discussions, etc.), as well as anywhere else designated as a non-gaming area (such as the Croquet Grounds).
