Yes, you can. However, this is not something that a new user should try; at first you'll probably have enough trouble figuring out what's going on with one character. In any case, there are several restrictions placed on players of multiple characters, and breaking those rules can result in dire consequences to *all* your characters. Be sure to read the RULES carefully before deciding to start a second character.
