The Deserted Ruins

The deserted ruins have been in Edgekeep since before the city came to be. It is said they are the relics of an age when great forces ruled the world and bent it to their whims. People were not even making cities yet; just wandering the lands scraping a bit of bark and finding the occasional monster for food. The ruins were a center of some civilization, the portals to dimensions unknown. To enter these ruins is to be careless with your life and soul, for even if you die, your soul may yet remain to be tormented by the powers that still reside.
