Dexterity is how well your character can control the movements of their body. This includes manual (finger and hand) dexterity, balance, acrobatics, martial arts, running through the woods without falling, dagger throwing, and these are just a few examples.

Dexterty also controls inititiave in combat, number of strikes per turn, and partially controls armor class and weapon class.

Distribution should include the following: Eye-Hand Coordination is for dagger throwing, bows, darts, catching things, etc. Acrobatic Ability takes into consideration flexability, balance, physical concentration, and more. Hand and finger dexterity is about picking locks, pick pocketing, tieing knots, etc.
