Uviél Sitar.

First of all, Uviél came from a large family of Sitars. His sister, Anda Sitar, was involved with a group of hardened adventures that stumbled into Ravenloft. She died an extremely painful death as the vampire pushed her from a ten story parapet (actually she died a little while later, after she had dragged her broken body into a nearby room).

News of her death reached Uviél in Edgekeep and it truly devestated him. Uviél's older brother, Niniel Sitar, was a famous Bard from the Northern lands. Niniel's fame merely added to Uviéls despair, since he felt himself an utter failure in Edgekeep. He began wandering the streets of Edgekeep in a zombie-like depressed state until he found himself in the deserted ruins, and then it was far too late.

The Dribbling Spotted Lightening Cat of Khal that had been sleeping in the ruins for eons, became suddenly hungry and painfully crushed Uviél under one molar. Uviél's last words, as he was being knawed on by the large cat, were, "I knew this would happen to me someday."
